Amaro Cora
The green-amber colored Amaro Cora is a liqueur made in Piedmont. Its floral aromas come together with some cinammon, finished with a note of orange peel.
The company Società Giuseppe & Luigi Fratelli Cora was founded in 1835 by two brothers, Giuseppe and Luigi Cora. They also made vermouth and spumante wines. It was their grandson Mario who popularized the bitters worldwide through advertising campaigns, but the drink suffered when the popularity of amari dropped in the the 1970s. The company was bought out by Bosca in 1984, and is still owned by them today.
